Directions:

1. Turn the mower on it’s side. Using a putty knife or similar tool, remove heavy build up of grass,
dirt and debris from the deck and blade.

2. Using a wire brush or wire cup brush attached to a drill, remove any additional surface residue
down to the bare metal.

3. Shake the can thoroughly for 1 - 2 minutes; spray MowerGUARD evenly over the deck surface,
blade and discharge chute. Mineral spirits or paint remover can be used for clean-up.

Allow at least 24 hours drying time at 70°F (21.1ºC) to ensure the graphite coating properly bonds
to the surface. Dry longer in cooler conditions, but do not apply in temperatures cooler than 50°F (10ºC).
Before storing can, turn upside down and spray briefly to clean out nozzle.

Caution: Avoid Inhalation. Spray in a well-ventilated area. We recommend use of gloves, eye protection and a spray-paint mask. Highly flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Disconnect spark plug wire prior to working on mower. Graphite is electrically conductive. Keep away from sensitive electronic equipment.
